Word Entertainment 3-piece alternative band of brothers, Everfound, caps off an extraordinary year with their Christmas EP, Resolution. While they’ve held a recurrent Christmas tour, “Rock the Halls,” over the past few years, Resolution is the band’s first Christmas project and is already receiving critical acclaim and satiating their expanding fan-base. The 5-song EP is a blend of traditional and original Christmas favorites, plus an instrumental take on “Carol of the Bells,” which New Release Tuesday says is, “spectacular” from the band “known for their flawless blend of electronic synth elements and grinding alternative sounds.” Everfound takes on two classic carols, “Silent Night” and “O Come, O Come Emmanuel,” with inventive remixes, including a final verse in Russian on the former, a nod to their heritage and global reach. Australia’s 365 Days of Inspiring Media says that with “O Come” the Russian trio delivers an “electronic/dance-themed remixed melody [that] is recorded to perfection.” The title track serves as a Christmas and New Year’s Anthem, bringing full circle the theme of hope represented by the coming of the New Year.

Smalltown Poets’ original band members went back into the studio for the first time in 16 years to create “Christmas Time Again,” their new Christmas album. The project is out now. This project was supported by a successful Pledge Music campaign and has 14 tracks – old and new, contemporary and traditional – that is sure to be a Christmas favorite.
