Nashville’s own MountView Creative begins their divine journey next week following nine blessed contemporary Christian artists on their 20 concert arena tour. MountView’s crew will document the devotion behind the artists, with cameras rolling, to capture all aspects of this major tour grounded in worship.
Grammy-nominated, American Music Award and multiple GMA Dove Award winners MercyMe will be a main feature of the tour. Their biblical melodies and lyrics will make you rise to your feet, confirming that music, to and for God, is the sole focus of the group. Joining MercyMe on this sanctified tour is gold album and Grammy nominated artist Jeremy Camp along with Tedashii, Kutless, Family Force Five, Luminate, Rhett Walker Band, Adam Cappa, and Tim Timmons.
MountView will give audiences an in-depth vision into what a worshipful life on the road is like, and will be doing so with some of the latest technology in filmmaking. Using both RED and Phantom cameras, viewers will feel as if they are a part of the show. The spiritual journey will also be captured by 5 DS3R Cannon Mark 3 cameras as well as 2 Go Pros. The crew will travel in their own tour bus for quick editing and a jumpstart on production along the way.
Executive producer Ryan Smith, 27, and associate producer Allen Cheney, 25, of MountView are ready and feeling blessed to get this show on the road. “From catering tolighting rigs, audio load in and life on a bus…it takes a village to pull everything together for an artist to walk on stage and put on an amazing show for fans,” says Smith. “We are thrilled to be putting together the first ever feature length documentary that will give a behind the scenes look at a major tour.”
